BANTA, ELISE HEBERT

A Plaquemine resident and native of Labadieville, Elise Hebert Banta will be sadly missed by her family. A homemaker, she passed away at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec 27 at Baton Rouge  General Hospital (Bluebonnet). She was 86 years old.
Visiting took place Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine. A religious service conducted by the Rev. Whitney Granger immediately followed. Interment in grace Memorial Park.
She survived by her four daughters, Betty Landry, Carol King, and Gail Seneca, all of Plaquemine and Nancy Miller of Avondale and one son, Jesse J. Banta, III of Baton Rouge. She leaves memories to be cherished by eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Banta, Jr., her parents, Wallace and Olampe Leboeuf Hebert and numerous brothers and sisters.
