The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that the White Castle ferry will be closed Thanksgiving Day. The 17-car White Castle ferry will resume its regular hours of operation from 4:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, 2009.
The Plaquemine and St. Francisville ferries will run during normal business hours on Thanksgiving Day.
