Guaranty Bank & Trust Company has announced the following promotions within the bank.  Mrs. Ella Dardenne has been named Assistant Operations Officer, Ms. Desiree Jarreau has been named BSA Officer, and Mrs. Heather Smith is in charge of the Grosse Tete Branch & Business Development.

In making the announcements, J. Wade O’Neal, III, President and CEO, stated, “Mrs. Dardenne, Ms. Jarreau and Mrs. Smith have all played an important part in the success of Guaranty Bank.  They are very knowledgeable and they are valuable members of the management team of the bank.”

Mrs. Ella Dardenne has been appointed Assistant Operations Officer for Guaranty Bank.  She has worked in banking for 26 years.  She has attended Bankers School for Supervisory Training and various banking classes and seminars throughout her banking career.  Ms. Dardenne is a member of St. Joseph Church.  She is active in the community and volunteers her time with local activities and fundraisers.  Mrs. Dardenne is a resident of Grosse Tete and is married to Joseph M. Dardenne and they have two children, Abby and Eric.

Ms. Desiree Jarreau has been appointed as the bank’s BSA Officer.   She has been with Guaranty Bank for over 15 years, and during that time, Desiree has served in several operational capacities throughout her career with the bank.   Ms. Jarreau hasattendedBankers School for Supervisory Training, BSA/AML Compliance Schooland various banking classes during her career.   Desiree is a life-long resident of Livonia and is  a Graduate of Livonia High School.   She actively volunteers for the Cochon De Lait and Softball Tournament fund raisers hosted by her brother in law's foundation called Nell’s Angel’s Foundation.   Ms. Jarreau has two children Lexie and Joshua.

Mrs. Heather Smith will be in charge of the Grosse Tete Branch & Business Development.   She has been with Guaranty Bank for six years.  She has attended Bankers School for Supervisory Training and various banking classes and seminars during her banking career.   Mrs. Smith is an active member of the Iberville Chamber of Commerce.  Mrs. Smith is a resident of Livonia and is married to Kristopher J. Smith, and they have a daughter, Hadley.
