The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced today that on Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13, the I-10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge in St. Martin and Iberville Parishes will have alternating lane closures in the east and westbound directions for a sweeping operation.

This work is estimated to take place from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m., nightly, weather permitting.

All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. There are no detours.

Also, beginning Friday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. through Monday, April 24 at 6:30 a.m. the west bound inside lane on I-10 will be closed from the Mississippi River Bridge to the Atchafalaya Bridge for necessary asphalt rehabilitation.

Permit load restrictions will be up to 13 feet wide, anything over please contact the permit office.
