District Attorney Richard J. Ward Jr. reports the following guilty pleas were accepted Feb. 8, 2018, before Judge Alvin Battiste:

1.       James Bethley, 26, 56604 Cpl. Herman Brown, Bayou Goula; Convicted of possession of marijuana and was sentenced to serve 15 days in the Department of Corrections.

2.       Brian K. Dunaway, 53, 24150 Hwy. 1, Plaquemine; Convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of two years.

3.       Ronnie T. Ealem, 38, 1957 N. Ardenwood Dr., Baton Rouge; Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance and two counts of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of five years.

On Feb. 20, 2018, the following guilty pleas were entered, also before Judge Alvin Battiste

1.       Trevor Henderson, 25, 24455 Eleanor Dr., Plaquemine; Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids and was sentenced to serve three years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and was placed on probation for a period of three years

2.       Phillip E. Williams III, 4557 Main St., Addis; Convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and possession of marijuana and was sentenced to serve two years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of two years

3.       Marcus J. Jackson, 50, 23960 Levy St., Plaquemine; Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to serve five years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of five years

4.       Katherine L. Fabre, 53, 65635 Jr. Dr., Plaquemine; Convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of two year .

5.       Kenneth D. Furse, 56, 58435 Bayou Rd., Plaquemine; Convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to 18 months in the Department of Corrections

6.       Lawrence R. Harris, 48,, 59136 W.W. Harleaux, Plaquemine; Convicted of possession of stolen firearms and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of two years

7.       Curtis A. Jones, 36, ,1780 Beeson Ln., Sunshine; Convicted of two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and was placed on probation for a period of five years

8.       Derek A. Mitchell, 38, 15555 Depot Ln., Rosedale; Convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to three years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for three years

9.       Bradley Mixon, 37, 38058 Golden Meadow, Gonzales; Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for one year

10.   Chase A. Rhodus, 20, 14334 Moore St., Walker; Convicted of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and theft of goods over $1,500 and was sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections and placed on probation for two years.

11.   Dwayne E. Tullier, 59655 La. Hwy. 1148, Plaquemine; Convicted of three counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to three years in the Department of Corrections

12.   Kenneth Warner, 37, 57917 Barrow St., Plaquemine; Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for two years

13.   Gerald T. Young Jr., 26, 2755 79th Ave., Baton Rouge; Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation for four years
