Holy Savior Menard 10, Rosepine 9

Rosepine took a late lead with five runs scored in the sixth inning, but Holy Savior Menard scored one in the sixth and two in the seventh for the walk-off win.

Anthony Perkins went 1-for-4 with an RBI, and Seth Ducote went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Thursday

Grand Lake 6, Merryville 3

Merryville scored a pair of runs to take the lead in the fourth inning, but Grand Lake put up four runs in the fifth to get out of reach of Merryville, as the Panthers fell 6-3.

Merryville took the lead in the top of first inning with a groundout by J.D. Reeves that scored J.T. Gargis before Grand Lake scored one in the second and one in the third inning.

Zach Cleveland led the Panthers at the plate, going 2-for-3 and Gargis went 1-for-4.

Anacoco 10, Hornbeck 3

Landry Alligood racked up three doubles and drove in four runs to lead Anacoco to a 10-3 win over Hornbeck.

Alligood went a perfect 5-for-5 with four RBIs and three runs scored, while striking out three and allowing one hit in two innings pitched.

Hornbeck led 2-0 until Anacoco scored one in the fourth and took the lead with two runs in the fifth.

The Indians extended the lead with four runs in the sixth and sealed the win with three runs in the seventh.

Gentry Bennett went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI, Kellen Haymon went 1-for-4 with two RBIs.

DeQuincy 7, Pickering 1

Pickering scored a run to begin the game but was shut out the rest of the way as DeQuincy took the 7-1 win.

The two teams were tied at 1 until the fourth inning when DeQuincy scored four runs. The Tigers added one in the fifth and one in the sixth to build on their lead.

The Red Devils recorded just two hits, one from Connor Donaldson and one for Luke Perkins.

Pitkin 7, Hicks 6

Trailing by one heading into the final inning, Pitkin scored two runs in the final inning for the walk off win against Hicks.

Clay LeBlanc scored on a passed ball to tie it up, and Garrett Edwards sacrificed himself to score Jacob Thompson for the win.

Pitkin took a 3-0 lead in the first inning and lead 5-1 heading into the fifth inning, when the Pirates scored five runs to the lead.

Daniel Miller led Hicks at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, and Titan Milstead went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Adrain Nolen went 2-for-3 with an RBI, and LeBlanc went 2-for-3 with a run scored.

East Beauregard 9, Oakdale 3

East Beauregard took a 3-2 lead in the second inning and never looked back, defeating Oakdale 9-3.

The Trojans scored three runs in the fourth inning and three in the sixth to keep the pressure on Oakdale throughout the game.

Hunter Sharp was on point on the mound for the Trojans, throwing seven innings and striking out 10 while allowing just four hits.

Karter Colley led the Trojans at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBIs, and Konner Seal went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
