District Attorney Richard J. Ward Jr. reports the following convictions from Mar. 13, 2018, through Mar. 18, before 18th Judicial District Judge Elizabeth Engolio:

Major Lewis, 33166 Bowie St., White Castle, La., DOB: 3/20/97: Convicted of 18 counts of simple burglary and was sentenced to six years at the Department of Corrections at hard labor on each charge which is to run concurrent.

Brian Jones, 32900 Bowie St., White Castle, DOB 9/7/98: Convicted of 18 counts of simple burglary and was sentenced to six years at the Department of Corrections at hard labor on each charge which is to run concurrent.

Richard Laviolette, 784 Huckleberry, Gretna, DOB 1/6/84: Convicted of possession of contraband upon grounds of a state correctional institution and was sentenced to six months in the Department of Corrections at hard labor.

Elizabeth Dozier, 62515 Bayou Rd., Plaquemine, 1/14/84: Convicted of simple arson and was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections at hard labor which was suspended ad placed on probation for a period of a year.

Jeremiah Georgetown, 58813 Allen St., Plaquemine, 2/11/05: Convicted of possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to three years in the Department of Corrections at hard labor which was suspended and placed on probation for a period of three years.

Shaio-Qeen Thomas, 600 Harold Ln., Baytown, Texas, 7/18/00: Convicted of aggravated obstruction of a highway and was sentenced to three years in the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on probation and placed on probation for a period of three years.

Wendell Hamilton, 1135  Rosedale Rd., Lot 9, Rosedale, 10/1/63: Convicted of simple burglary and was placed on probation for a period of three years.

Gerard McAuliff, 24566 Highschool St., Plaquemine, 2/24/97: Convicted of simple burglary and was placed on probation for a period of three years.
