The Knights of Columbus Council 970 will host the International Acadian Festival on Oct. 19 though Oct. 21 at the Mark A. “Tony” Gulotta Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park.
The festival features rides, live music, the always special presentation of the year’s Evangeline and a host of vendors with a wide variety of merchandise.
The KCs are currently seeking those vendors and booth rental forms and vendor rules can be obtained by contacting Jimmy Hebert at (225) 776-2895 or email@example.com.
The organization requests vendors provide them with a list of everything they intend to sell in their booths as well as a phone number or email address so the KCs can contact them.
The Knights of Columbus do not allow retail vendors with the exception of desserts, cookies and candies like pralines and fudge. The only drinks the organization will allow outside vendors to sell are specific drinks like fresh lemonade.
Vendors must be set up by 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, and 11 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21. Booth locations will be assigned by a member of the Knights of Columbus but vendors can select the days or days they will attend the festival.
The 10-foot by 10-foot spaces inside the main pavilion at the Water Park will be reserved in the order the KCs receive applications and once the pavilion, canopies must be provided by the vendors.
