PLAQUEMINE – Plaquemine resident Mary Sue Gulotta recently sent some Cajun food to troops to feel more at home.

Marine Private First Class Adam Raffray is on active duty and stationed in Pensacola, Fla.

Unable to come for Mardi Gras or Easter, Gulotta decided to send him some south Louisiana cooking instead.

Gulotta’s son, Brad Gulotta, told her about his friend Raffray and she decided to make 15 quarter of gumbo for he and fellow Marines.
