NEW ROADS - Nine employees of Pointe Coupee Electric were recognized for reaching milestones of service and dedication to the co-op and to the members of the co-op. These dedicated employees are a vital part of the day-to-day operations of Pointe Coupee Electric.

Recognized in 2013 were: Kathy Henley, Head Cashier, 30 years of service; Pam Bergeron, Senior Billing Specialist, 15 years of service; Buster Roy, Right of Way Worker, 10 years of service; Scott Mougeot, Lineman First Class, 10 years of service; Myer, Apprentice Lineman, 5 years of service; Keith Derozan, Right of Way Worker, 5 years of service; Jill Copeland, Member Services & Communications Assistant, 5 years of service; Bordelon, Apprentice Lineman, 5 years of service and Gerard Derbes, Right of Way Worker, 5 years of service

This group of employees represents a combined total of 90 years of experience and service to the co-op and our members.

Joseph H. "Jodie" Cotten Jr., General Manager, stated "The employees experience, knowledge and dedication are proof of their commitment to providing the best possible service to our members and improving the quality of life in our area."

Cotten continued, "We take pride in our employees and what they bring to the co-op."

In 2013, Pointe Coupee Electric employees represented 688 combined years of service and experience to the cooperative and its members in Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge Parishes.
