BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo announces Art Gone Wild winners
BATON ROUGE - BREC's Baton Rouge Zoo is excited to announce the winners of the fourth annual Art Gone Wild art contest, sponsored by Baton Rouge Parents Magazine.
More than 400 votes were cast for first, second and third place winners in each age category. The grand prizewinner was selected by a panel of community judges.
Winning pieces will be published in the Zoo's Wild Times newsletter, a benefit of Friends of the Baton Rouge Zoo membership, which is distributed quarterly to more than 4,500 households, businesses and governmental offices.

The Grand Prize winner is Alexander Garrett. Other winners included Corelia Carlin in the Alligator category, Olivia King in the Eagle category, Anna Morris in the Giraffe category, David James Galin in the Rhino category and Mary Heckman in the Elephant category.
