BATON ROUGE - The Foundation for Historical Louisiana is sponsoring its annual Lagniappe Tours excursion to celebrate and experience Fat Tuesday in New Orleans on March 4, 2014.

The tour includes viewing of the world-famous krewes of Rex and Zulu, as well as the marching bands, clubs and truck parades from reserved seats.

At mid-afternoon, the party moves to Le Pavilion Hotel, known as "the Belle of New Orleans," for a Creole buffet. As a Lagniappe Tours passenger, you will have access to the hotel's facilities throughout the day. Lagniappe Tours' experienced guides travel with the group providing insights and information.

A deluxe motor coach will depart from Baton Rouge at the Mall of Louisiana's Macy' parking lot at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4 and will return at 7 p.m.

Tickets purchased prior to Friday, Feb. 14 are $150 per person for FHL members and $175 for non-members.

Tickets purchased after Friday, Feb. 14 are $175 for FHL members and $200 for non-members.

This price includes the bus, guide, select grandstand tickets and lunch at the Le Pavillon Hotel.
