Siplin accepts scholarship to The University of Arts

LaToya Patrice Siplin recently accepted a scholarship to The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

PLAQUEMINE - LaToya Patrice Siplin, a senior at MSA-West, recently accepted a scholarship to The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

She was also offered a scholarship to The American Music and Dramatic Arts Academy in Los Angeles.

After two months of traveling for auditions and competing against students from all over the United States and other countries, she considered this to be an honor to be offered scholarships to both performing arts colleges.

Upon graduation, Siplin will pursue a four-year degree in choreography.

Dancing has been a passion of Siplin since she was four-years old. She is the daughter of Randy and Charlene Siplin.
