The Arc-Iberville and West Baton Rouge hosts Christmas party

PLAQUEMINE - The Arc - Iberville and West Baton Rouge extends their appreciation to the community for contributions to their Christmas Party. 

“We saw tremendous support that made our party a huge success,” said executive director Dr. Elizabeth Fussell.  “We appreciate everything the community did and would like to extend an invitation to others to visit us at The Arc – Iberville and West Baton Rouge.”

A special thank you is extended to the following community businesses and individuals including Bayou Bistro, Cypress Seafood, Brian Willis of Orleans on the Avenue, Guidry’s, C & C Chevron, Wal-Mart, Leblanc’s, Paul Farmer State Farm, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Pizza Hut, Kiwanis Club and the West Side Cloggers.

In addition, members of the Order of Alhambra provided a pizza party.

The Arc - Iberville and West Baton Rouge operates to serve individuals with disabilities to gain vocational and independent living skills.

The Iberville Parish Council completely renovated the building where The Arc is housed in 2013.

“It is a beautiful building and an exciting environment in which to work and learn,” Fussell said. “We owe the Parish Council our gratitude for their continued support.

The Arc will host a grand reopening Feb. 18 from 2 – 4 p.m.
