Special Olympics hosts Sixth Annual Polar Plunge Feb. 22

BATON ROUGE - If you are going to be freezin', wouldn't you rather be Freezin' for a Reason?

Special Olympics Louisiana will host the Sixth Annual Polar Plunge on Saturday, Feb. 22.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. at Cabela's located at 2200 West Cabela's Parkway in Gonzales.

Everyone is invited to come and take the plunge for a bare minimum of $50.

Costumes are encouraged and the more money you raise the better. The FUNdraiser will end once all participants have taken the plunge.

There will be events for the whole family to participate in including music, food, drinks and much more.
