Officers recently installed by the Tau Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. include from left, bottom, Tia Mills, Carmen Harrison, Charmaine Williams, Quanda Charles, Pearlie Johnson and LaDonna Green. PLAQUEMINE - Tau Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. recently held its installation ceremony for 2014 - 2015 officers.

Past president Eunice Trent and past vice-president Ira Dean Grace installed the officers.

Those installed were president Charmaine Williams, vice president Carmen Harrison, recording secretary Tia Mills, assistant secretary Allegra Lockett, correspondence secretary Francesca Williams, treasurer Quanda Charles, financial security Pearlie Johnson, reporter LaDonna Green, chapter hostess Stacie Jordan, sergeant at arms Katrice Lipscomb, parliamentarian Cormanda Green, parliamentarian and chaplain Dana Washington.

The president appointed the following chairman, programs Carmen Harrison, standards Eunice Trent, protocol Barbara Davis, membership Wanda Henderson, historian Andretta Atkins, connections Olivia Bessix and technology Francesca Williams.

Tau Kappa Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. was founded on March 21, 1992 in Plaquemine.
