PLAQUEMINE - Krewe of Comogo will hold its Second Annual Mardi Gras parade on Lundi Gras night March 3 at 7 p.m.

This krewe features the only night-time Mardi Gras parade on the west side and began in memorial to the late Brenda Comeaux, a Plaquemine resident.

Dr. James Grace of Plaquemine will serve as the 2014 Krewe of Comogo Parade Grand Marshall.

Grace will lead the Krewe of Comogo parade through the heart of Plaquemine, which begins at the corner of Main Street and La. 1 and proceeds south to Belleview Road then continues west on Belleview to the Carl F. Grant Civic Center for the annual Krewe of Comogo Gala.

Father Gregory Daigle will bless the floats upon send off. The parade will include nearly 20 floats, four marching bands and unique Mardi Gras throws.
