Iberville Elementary School students raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association in February. Teams from Positive Behavior Intervention Support sold T-shirts to be worn to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays while the P.E. Department held its annual Jump Rope for Hearts Contest. PBIS coordinator Heddie Murthy said that Iberville Parish is one of only three parishes in the state where all schools in the district raised money for the American Heart Association. Participating in the fundraiser are from left, front, Karlyn Johnson, Richlon Butler, Brayden Smith, Chris Lee, Jr. and Akeelah Askins. Back, Patsy Lamothe, ECC principal Kelli Barbee, IES principal Dawn Washington and American Heart Association’s Brett Jackson.
