21st Annual Great Rover Road Run April 5

BATON ROUGE—The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine is hosting the 21st Annual Great Rover Road Run on Saturday, April 5.
The run consists of a 5K Road Run followed by a one mile run/walk with your dog. The 5K run begins at 8 a.m. and the one mile run begins at 9:15 a.m. at the LSU SVM on Skip Bertman Drive. The scenic course starts at the veterinary school and winds through the LSU campus.
Pre-registered participants will get a t-shirt and "doggy bag." Water and refreshments will be provided for all participants. Awards will be given to the first-, second- and third-place winners in the different age categories for the 5K run and to the winners of the different categories for the one mile run.

If you pre-register, you can pick up your pre-race packet in the lobby of the School of Veterinary Medicine on April 4 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Dog participants must be on a six-foot leash and have proof of current vaccination. No dogs will be allowed on the 5K course with competitive runners.
