Spring Festival at Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park

PLAQUEMINE - Families can get into the Easter holiday spirit a little early at the Spring Festival Sunday with breakfast and photos with the Easter bunny, a children’s Easter parade, egg hunt and an Easter bonnet contest.
The event is set on Sunday, April 6 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park located at 57845 Foundry Street.
It is open to the public and admission is free. The event is sponsored by We Are the Difference, Inc. and the Plaquemine Main Street Program.
Breakfast with the Easter bunny runs from 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. followed by a children’s walking Easter parade with the Easter bunny through the park at 10:30 a.m.
Arts, crafts and children’s games and activities are from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. with an Easter bonnet contest at 11 a.m., a chili cook-off from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. with judging at 1 p.m., an Easter egg hunt sponsored by Elks Lodge 1398 and a plant sale and demonstration by the Tri-Parish Master Gardeners.
Photos with the Easter bunny will be available $5.
