District Attorney reports multiple convictions

PLAQUEMINE – The 18th Judicial District Attorney Richard J. Ward reports the following convictions from March 20 before Judge William Dupont.
- Palmer Lee Goodlow III, 33, 37095 Geismar Drive, Geismar, convicted of possession with intent to distribute schedule I controlled dangerous substance and sentenced to seven years at the Department of Corrections.
- Joseph Ventress Jr., 32, 18025 Bayou Road, Maringouin, convicted of theft of $500 or more and unauthorized entry and sentenced to five years at the Department of Corrections on each count, which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
- Richard Peterson, 32, 23985 Jackson St., Plaquemine, convicted of illegal possession of stolen firearms and sentenced to five years at the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
- Scott Mcauley, 27, 36360 La. 69, Lot 14, White Castle, convicted of two counts of aggravated battery and sentenced to five years at the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
- Lucas Cavalier, 26, 58224 Canal St., Plaquemine, convicted of introducing or possession contraband in a penal institution and theft of $1,500 or more and sentenced to five years at the Department of Correcetions on each which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
- Marcie Irwin, 32, 23366 Iberville St., Plaquemine, convicted of simple burglary and sentenced to five years at the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
- Christopher Jackson, 30, 77215 Ridgewood Drive, Maringouin, convicted of felony theft of $1,500 or more and sentenced to five years at the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
-Brenesha Carter, 19, 32445 Maggio St., White Castle, convicted of second degree battery and sentenced to five years at the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on five years probation.
- Tremayne Hawkins, 14650 Centreville Road, Rosedale, convicted of simple burglary and sentenced to three years at the Department of Corrections which was suspended and placed on three years probation.
