Inaugural Spring Festival held at Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park

Families got into the Easter holiday spirit a little early at the Spring Festival April 6 at the Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park. The event was sponsored by We Are the Difference, Inc. and the Plaquemine Main Street Program and included breakfast and photos with the Easter bunny, a children’s Easter parade, egg hunt and an Easter bonnet contest. The Easter egg hunt was sponsored by Elks Lodge 1398 and the Tri-Parish Master Gardeners hosted a demonstration.
