BATON ROUGE - Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne is the part of the newest class of the LSU Alumni Association’s Hall of Distinction. The Hall recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves and LSU through their careers, their personal and civic accomplishments, their volunteer activities and their loyalty to their alma mater.

“LSU has been important to me for almost as long as I can remember,” Dardenne said. “From my adolescent years watching Pistol Pete play ball to my year as student body president, I have always been proud of my connection to the university. LSU will always be a priority and I’m fortunate to be an LSU Tiger”

Dardenne graduated from LSU in 1976 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and earned a J.D. from LSU Law Center in 1979.
