PLAQUEMINE – The Plaquemine Garden Club members recently cleaned up areas around the Iberville Museum, adjacent locks and 1800's doctor's office.

The group crossed Bayou Plaquemine over into Turnerville, cleaning Nadler Street, Laville Street, Schnebelen Street, Short Street and Foundry Lane.

One of the primary missions of the garden club is to encourage litter control, setting forth the example to keep our community's environment clean and beautiful.

"Clean-Up City" has been an annual club project since early 1970's.
