BATON ROUGE – Students from MSA-West and MSA-East recently participated in the Louisiana High School Rally Association Literary events.

The LHSRA is a voluntary, non-profit, educational association of middle and junior units of a school, home schools, and senior high schools that are recognized by the State Department of Louisiana and the colleges and universities that coordinate the district and state competitions each year.

The purpose of LHSRA is to provide opportunities for students to achieve a greater awareness of the importance of education in these critical times and gain a renewed determination to develop their talents to the maximum by promoting keen competition and a desire for excellence, and in recognizing academic endeavors on a statewide level.

MSA-West’s Will Carothers placed fourth in English III and Paula Villagra placed third in Spanish II.

MSA-East’s Jacques Comeaux placed first in Physics and Logan Shutt placed first in Psychology. Marie Comeaux also placed second in Spanish II.
