Multiple defendants plead guilty

PLAQUQMEINE – 18th Judicial District Attorney Richard J. Ward Jr. reports the following pled guilty and received the following sentences before Judge Alvin Batiste.

Pleas were obtained by Assistant District Attorney Timothy Collins.

- Christopher Wade, 43, 428 Neyland, Houston, pled guilty to possession of 400 grams or more of cocaine and sentenced to 15 years in the Department of Corrections.

- Teddra Bassett, 24, 2824 S. Burnside Ave. #2001, Gonzales, pled guilty to attempted possession with intent to distribute a schedule I CDS and sentenced to one year supervised probation.

- Nicholas Fobb, 25, 12093 Roddy Road #12, Gonzales, pled guilty to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and sentenced to 1- years in the Department of Corrections and ordered to be placed on five years probation after time served.

- Allen Weatherford, 48, 32005 La. 75, Plaquemine, pled guilty to distribution of schedule II controlled dangerous substance and sentenced to two years in the Department of Corrections.

- Haley Cedotal, 29, 22290 Walker St., Plaquemine, pled guilty to obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud and sentenced to three years probation.

- Mario L. Mills, 31, 18005 Willow St., Grosse Tete, plead guilty to possession of schedule II controlled dangerous substance and marijuana and sentenced to three years in the Department of Corrections on each count.
