Plaquemine woman pleads guilty to theft

PLAQUEMINE – 18^th Judicial District Attorney Richard J. Ward Jr. reports that a former Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office employee pled guilty to aggregate theft.

Destiny St. Angelo, 37, 24115 Ferdinand St., Plaquemine, was placed on supervised probation for three years with a monthly supervision fee of $65.

Judge Alvin Batiste also ordered the defendant to pay restitution to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office in the amount of $14,631.50. 

The defendant is to be evaluated for gambling addiction and complete the program.
