Plaquemine Water Spray Park opens May 24

PLAQUEMINE – The City of Plaquemine’s popular Water Spray Park at City Park will open for the summer on Saturday, May 24 just in time for the Memorial Day holiday, announces Mayor Mark “Tony” Gulotta.

The Water Spray Park hours will be from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday. It is closed on Monday. 

The park features 12,000 square feet of waterfalls, sprays and playful water toys for lots of wet fun in the sun.

It is operated by the Iberville Parks and Recreation District. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and admission is free.

The park is located at 24505 Ferdinand St. Buses are welcome but are asked to call IPRD in advance.
