Second man booked in camp shooting

PLAQUEMINE - The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that a second man has been arrested as an accessory in the May 7 shooting death of a Plaquemine man found at a camp in Grand River.
Darrell Georgetown Jr., 26, 58175 Plaquemine St., was charged for accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and obstruction of justice in the death of Kye Boudreaux, Iberville Sheriff Brett Stassi said in a news release.
The victim’s boat was seen drifting along the Intracoatal Waterway near Jack Miller’s Landing. Authorities later found his truck and trailer partially burned in a cane field off La. 1.
On May 7, Detrell Scott, 22, was arrested for first-degree murder and armed robbery in connection with the shooting, authorities said.
