Dow Retiree Club holds annual crawfish boil

PLAQUEMINE - A large crowd of Dow retirees, spouses, and guests gathered on the grounds of the Dow Plantation House May 14 for the group’s annual crawfish boil. 

Phil Prejean, Dow Retiree Club president, welcomed guests to the event and thanked sponsors Burns Estate Planning of Hammond and Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America.

Dow retiree Jim Cox directed the cooking activities, which included 1,200 pounds of crawfish, in addition to corn and potatoes. 

Assisting him with boiling duties were Dow retirees Leroy Pugh, Robbie Robbins, Tommy LeBlanc, Bubbie LeBlanc, Art Bourg, and Mickey Hunt.

Door prizes were awarded by Burns Estate Planning.
