Iberville Elementary physical education teacher, Kennedy Dupree, purchased archery equipment for her students with an Iberville Foundation Grant of $750.

Twenty grants were funded by the Iberville Foundation for Academic Excellence for the 2018-2019 school year.

Foundation Board Member, Heddie Carville, recently visited classrooms at Iberville Elementary and Dorseyville Elementary to review grants with recipients. Kennedy Dupree, Michelle Daigle, and Cassandra Robertson received grants of $750 or $250 to purchase material to be used in their classrooms.

The teachers were able to purchase archery equipment for the gymnasium, language and science material, and material for a World Civilization History Adventure.
