Television series being filmed in Plaquemine

A TV Series "Paradise Lost" was being filmed on Main Street in Plaquemine, Louisiana on August 14 and 15.

It is a Southern Mississippi based series.

The series production will take place in Plaquemine and surrounding areas until the end of September. This is a wonderful thing for the small community. Filming gives local carpenters, painters, costume designers, and makeup artists jobs on the sets.

It also brings in revenue to our community, as the crew and workers are staying in local hotels, eating local, and shopping local.

Mrs Charlene Bishop's house is the location of one of the sets in this TV Series. Her beautiful, historical house was also used for movies Wicked Blood and Lush.

Paradise Lost's main characters are Nick Nolte, Barbara Hershey, and Josh Hartnett.
