Santa Claus says most of the children in Iberville Parish have made his ‘good’ list

An exclusive interview with Santa Claus reveals that most of Iberville Parish’s children have little to worry about on Christmas morning, having already earned places on his “good” list.
“Almost every little boy and girl in Iberville Parish is on my nice list,” Santa said in an interview he managed to fit into his busy pre-Christmas schedule. “I’ve made my list, checked it twice and there are very few children who need to worry about being on the naughty list.”
“There are a few, though,” the jolly old elf admitted, adding, “There’s still time to get on the good list, but you better be nice.”
Santa Claus has been in most of Iberville Parish’s communities in the last couple of weeks, including parades in Grosse Tete and White Castle and during Plaquemine’s All is Bright Christmas celebration.
“Be sure to tell all the children in the parish not to worry that Santa won’t be ready for his midnight ride Christmas Eve,” Santa said. “While I’m away from the North Pole, I have hundreds of my elves are busy making all the toys for all the girls and boys. We’ll have them all loaded on the sleigh and ready.”
Santa said he also wanted to remind children in Iberville to leave a snack out for him on Christmas Eve and maybe something for the reindeer.
“My favorites are cookies and milk, but the reindeer, Rudolph especially, prefer carrots and apples,,” he said, then laughed with a big “ho, ho, ho,” his belly shaking like a big bowl of jelly.
