Price LeBlanc dies at St. Gabriel home

Price V. LeBlanc, a leading citizen of the parish, died Friday at his lifelong home in St. Gabriel.

Visitation is scheduled today (Monday) from 3:30-8 p.m. at Rabenhurst Funeral Home at 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge and from 8:30-11 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church at 3625 La. 75. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11 a.m. at the church.

LeBlanc, 88, was a well-known area auto dealer who made his own television commercials offering country sausage and addressing his potential customers as known “dahlin,”

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley M. Wolf LeBlanc, two daughters, four sons and 13 grandchildren.
