Mayor visits PHS civics class

Students in Plaquemine High School’s civics class was visited by Mayor Tony Gulotta recently. Plaquemine Mayor Tony Gulotta visited Plaquemine High School's civics class recently to educate students on his role and responsibilities as the town mayor.

Gullotta elaborated on the city budget, taxes, the importance of voting, and city security.

He professed to the students the importance of securing an education so it may be used as benefit for their future achievement.
