PHS treats perfect attendance students to Orleans on the Avenue

The following students participated in the field trip to Orleans on the Avenue for maintaining perfect attendence. They are Taylor Gholson, Andre Adams, Kodey Ray, Armani Bynum, Aryona Williams, Jamal Orange, Jodeci Harris, Precious Anderson, Tajai Jackson, Montrel Washington, Edwin Johnson, Trajan Butler, Christopher Lewis, Kiasha Duplessis, Keunda Davis, Jaminie Fernandez, Alicia Adams, Claire Saucier, Alvin Scott, Coby Smith, Dwaynia Ruffins, Hameed Dempsey, Jalassia Carpenter, Joshua Mellien, Dontrell McCoy, Aaron Oliver, Rachel Bill, Conner Blanchard, Troy Philson, Jonqueisha Riley and Jared Weber.

Plaquemine High School's Positive Behavior Interventions and Support committee sponsored a special treat for an elite group of students who have maintained perfect attendance for the 2012-13 school year.

A total of 31 students were treated to a buffet lunch at Orleans on the Avenue on Nov. 9.

Brian Willis, owner of Orleans on the Avenue, and a member of the Iberville Parish School Board, welcomed the group and provided special seating arrangements, as well as words of encouragement to all the students who participated.

The PBIS Committee plans on future incentives for students who follow school expectations, attend school regularly and attain high academic performance.
