LSMSA 2012 Science Fair winners chosen

Genesis Allen of Plaquemine recently placed second in the chemistry category at the Louisiana School for Math, Science and the Arts 2012 Science Fair.

NATCHITOCHES - The science department of the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts announced the winners of the 2012 Science Fair in chemistry, physics, biology and microbiology recently.

In chemistry, first place was awarded to Ronald Cossich of Gonzalez and Ethan Tesnow of Minden for "The Photoelectric Effect." Second place went to Genesis Allen of Plaquemine for her project titled "Going the Whole Sine Yards." Lydia Grafton of Columbia and Taylor Tonnies of Bossier City received third place for "Caffeine versus Reading Comprehension."
