Baton Rouge Blues Festival announces 2013 lineup

BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Blues Foundation proudly brings the 2013 Baton Rouge Blues Festival to downtown Baton Rouge Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. located in the Galvez Plaza and Town Square.

The free to the public, family-friendly festival will feature an impressive lineup of Blues legends and newcomers alike, including Bobby Rush, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Henry Gray & the Cats, Lavelle White, CC Adcock & The Lafayette Marquis, Bryan Lee, Rudy Richard, Blind Boy Paxton, Baby Bee and Mr. Hinson & the Blisters.

In addition to live music, Back Stage at the Blues Fest will also include interviews and informal performances in the Old State Capitol Senate chambers, providing attendees a backstage pass to discover more about participating performers.

The Baton Rouge Blues Festival is produced by the Baton Rouge Blues Foundation in conjunction with Manship Theatre. The festival's goal is to encourage promotion, preservation and advancement of the "Swamp Blues" music native to Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
