Greater Baton Rouge Cat Club's 40th Annual Cat Show March 30 at Lamar Dixon

BATON ROUGE - Greater Baton Rouge Cat Club will be having its 40th Annual Cat Show at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center on Saturday, March 30th, 2013 sponsored by IAMS.

Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors children 12 and under free.

225 cats will be present and competing at this show. Judging will take place in seven different rings throughout the day.

This is an opportunity to see many different breeds of cats including Abyssinian, Russian Blue, Sphynx, Maine Coons, Siamese, Oriental Shorthairs, Ragdolls, Chartruex, Persians, Siberians and many more breeds.

There is also a special category for household pets, which need not be purebreds. Final awards will be presented in each category by each judge.

An overall Best of the Best will be awarded at the conclusion of all judging. Exhibitors will be bringing their cats to compete at this show from all over the country.

In addition to the cats and kittens, there will be vendors selling gift items for you and your pet, scratching posts, jewelry, toys as well as unusual items. There will also be food available.
