Iberville Parish 4-H sponsoring strawberry sale

PLAQUEMINE - The Iberville Parish 4-H Program is sponsoring its Fresh Louisiana Strawberry Sale.

All proceeds from this sale will go toward camping experiences, scholarships and educational programming for youth in Iberville Parish.

All strawberries are Louisiana-grown. The strawberries are $20 per flat. Each flat contains 12 pints on berries. Anyone interested in placing an order for strawberries should call 225-687-5155 by Friday, March 22.

The strawberries will be available for pick up on Wednesday, April 3 from 12 - 5p.m. at the Iberville Parish 4-H Office (25250 C.M. "Mike" Zito Lane, Plaquemine).

Berries are highly perishable produce, so any orders that are not picked up by 5 p.m. on April 3 will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
