Five arrested in synthetic marijuana bust

PLAQUEMINE - Detectives with the Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office and L.E.A.D. Task Force discovered over 100 packages of synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun while conducting a search warrant at 58111 Barrow St. in Plaquemine April 23.
According to the Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi and City of Plaquemine Police Chief Orian Gulotta, approximately 110 packages of "COCO PUFF" and a Glock handgun reportedly stolen in East Baton Rouge Parish were discovered.
Five suspects were arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana (synthetic), possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS and illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
Arrested are Malik Jones, 24, 58111 Barrow St, Plaquemine; Robert Green, 21, 58111 Barrow St., Plaquemine; Jonathon Cain 22, 58101 Gay St.,. Plaquemine; Jontrell Wilson, 19, 58110 Washington St., Plaquemine and Travion Johnson, 27, 14044 Azalea Park Avenue, Apt. C., Baton Rouge.
