MSA-West elementary cheer team raises funds for St. Jude

The MSA-West elementary cheer team participated in a fundraiser for St. Jude last summer and was among the top 10 teams to earn money. They ranked sixth and were invited to visit Together House and St Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis. State testing forced the team to decline the trip but the local chapter of St. Jude in Baton Rouge visited the school and honored the team with a trophy during an assembly.
