"Congratulations, Arianna! You have received a callback!"

No sooner than Joseph and Anitra Murphy Taylor had read the good news regarding their daughter Arianna Taylor's performance at THE EVENT auditions, they wasted no time sharing the news with their 11-year-old daughter, her coach Marilyn C Brown, and the entire family.

THE EVENT is a reputable organization that provides great opportunities and exposures to many of the world's top agents, managers, casting directors, and industry insiders.

The initial auditions were held June 24, in New Orleans where Taylor was required to memorize and perform a 60-second monologue. Her overall performance enabled her to advance to first round competition, which was held in Orlando, Florida, March 24-30. This time she was required to do one of the company's TV commercials, as well as a 60-second comedic monologue of her own choosing.

In addition, Taylor participated in the Industry Q&A Runway Seminar, the Dance Party, the Red Carpet Night, and a photo shoot with Leon Thomas III of "Victorious," a Nickelodeon series. As Taylor and Thomas were getting ready for their photo shoot, her little brother Jamar couldn't resist the opportunity to join them.

Taylor and her entire family were thrilled to know that she had gotten callbacks from several companies, including Agency Model and Talent, Carolyn's Kids, HOP Model and Talent, and Marsha Doll Models.

More excitement came when Arianna returned home from Florida and received a callback via email from Marsha Doll inviting her and her parents to attend Ms Doll's NYC Parent/Child Boot Camp this summer.

Taylor is enrolled at Lukeville Upper Elementary School in Brusly. She is the granddaughter of Veronica Gordon Murphy and the late Alvin Murphy, Sr. of Brusly and the late Samuel and Retha Taylor of Modeste. Her hobbies include dancing, playing softball and texting her friends. She wants to pursue a career in modeling, and she also aspires to become a pediatrician.
