Louisiana Art and Artists Guild's Iberville Chapter set to host Summer Art Show June 14-16

ROSEDALE - The Iberville Chapter of the Louisiana Art and Artists Guild will host the group's annual Summer Art Show and Sale June 14-16 at the Rosedale Art Depot in Rosedale.

Open to artists age 18 and above, the event offers cash prizes of $250 (first place), $150 (second place) and $100 (third place). Both non-members and LAAG members can submit one or more entries by June 13 at these locations in Baton Rouge and Rosedale:

- Wednesdays through June 12 (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) and Sundays through June 9 (1- 4 p.m.) – Studio in the Park, 2490 Silverest Ave., Baton Rouge.

- June 8, 11 and 13 (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) – Rosedale Art Depot, 15021 Depot St., Rosedale

The judge for this year's event is acclaimed Western artist, sculptor and saddle maker Bob Moline of Fort Worth, Texas.

The public is invited to attend the three-day show and sale, as well as the awards presentation and reception on Sunday, June 16, from 2-4 p.m. to view the entries, talk to the artists and enjoy refreshments and a watercolor art demonstration by Moline – all free of charge.
