Pointe Coupee Electric awards continuing education scholarships

Kamryn Michele Theriot is the Iberville Parish recipient of the Pointe Coupee Electric continuing education scholarship.

NEW ROADS - Pointe Coupee Electric Membership Corporation (PCEMC) recently announced the recipients of its continuing education scholarships. A winner was chosen from Iberville Parish as well as Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge Parishes for the 2013 school year.

The scholarship recipient from Iberville Parish is Kamryn Michele Theriot, daughter of Dwayne and Michele Theriot of Plaquemine. Kamryn is a senior at St. John High School and plans to attend Nicholls State University in the fall of 2013. She will pursue a degree in Nursing.

Pointe Coupee Electric awarded a second continuing education scholarship to West Baton Rouge Parish recipient, Christina Monique Williams, a senior at Port Allen High School. Christina is the daughter of Mark and Gloria Williams of Port Allen.

The recipient of the Pointe Coupee Parish scholarship is Brennan Scott Maggio, a senior at Catholic High of Pointe Coupee. Brennan is the son of Sammy and Kathryn Maggio of Ventress.
