PLAQUEMINE - Jess Dance held their first annual dance recital at the Carl F. Grant Civic Center on Sunday, June 2 midday.

With the theme "The Sky's the Limit," it was obvious that all of Jess Dance's dancers reached for the sky this year.

Led by owner and teacher Jessica Daigle and dance teachers Beryl Barbier Britt and Erin Daigle, the show was a tremendous success. Jess Dance's first annual dance recital was dedicated to the amazing students.

"We are so proud of their hard work this year," Jessica Daigle said. "It is obvious that they have grown, and I am truly amazed that they were able to lay their heart and emotion on that stage."

Daigle also said she cannot wait until next year's show, which she hopes will be even bigger and better.

Daigle would like to thank the Jess Dance community, family and friends.

Also, she would like to express her gratitude to the Aucoins (Laurie, Kirsten, and Kirk), who have helped make this dream possible.

"This first year would not have been as successful without their love and support," Daigle said.
