Plaquemine Bank & Trust Company promotes Vaughn VP of Operations

PLAQUEMINE - Stephen Panepinto, President, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Plaquemine Bank & Trust Company, recently announced the promotion of Rhett Vaughn to Vice President of Operations. Vaughn was previously Assistant Vice President.

With the Bank for 24 years, Vaughn handles all matters in IT, bookkeeping, security and ACH (Automated Clearing House).

"Plaquemine Bank is proud of Rhett's continued leadership and growth within our Bank and he is an asset to our customers," Panepinto said.

Professionally, Vaughn is a member of FiServ Mid-South Users Group and Information Technology Peer Group. A graduate of Plaquemine High School, Vaughn attended Louisiana Bankers Association training.

Civically and socially, Vaughn is a founding member and board

member of the Krewe of Comogo, Plaquemine's only night time Mardi Gras parade.

He also serves as a board member of "We are the Difference" community volunteer organization. He is a member of the Iberville Community Theater that recently performed "Grease" and is planning both "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "The Wizard of Oz."

Vaughn is also a member of Kiwanis Club of Iberville. He also enjoys off-road jeeping, LSU baseball, training his Labrador and spending time with friends.

In answer to the question "Can you share a philosophy you have toward fellow employees and customers?," Vaughn responded, "I firmly believe 'it takes a village' to operate the Information Technology and Bookkeeping Departments."

Regarding customers, he said, "Our Bank believes in Customer Service. That was one of the founding objectives insisted upon by Dr. Durand, the Bank's founder and original Board Director when the Bank was founded 45 years ago."
