The Dow Westside YMCA offering free Community Shape Up Challenge Sept 1-21
ADDIS - The Dow Westside YMCA will be hosting a Free Community Shape Up Challenge.
Classes will be offered Sept. 1 through Sept. 21. The Challenge is open to everyone 18 years and older, and membership to the Y is not required.
The three-week program will offer free classes, seminars and training. This program strives to educate and motivate participants to lead a healthier lifestyle. If participants attend six classes during the three weeks, they will receive a waived joining fee to become a member of the Y.
Registration for the Community Shape Up Challenge will begin Aug. 1, 2013, and will be accepted at the Y. Classes may include wellness assessments, workouts with a trainer, group exercise classes, cardio/weights workouts and nutrition/wellness classes.
