Saintsations Swimsuit Calendar to be unveiled at Royal Sonesta Hotel Aug. 7

NEW ORLEANS - As the New Orleans Saints gear up for the upcoming football season, the team's official cheerleading squad prepares for their big night.

As the Presenting Sponsor of the New Orleans Saintsations, the Royal Sonesta Hotel will once again host the team's annual Swimsuit Calendar Unveiling.

The highly anticipated 2014 Swimsuit Calendar Release Gala will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 6 - 8 p.m. in the hotel's elegant Grand Ballroom.

A limited number of tickets are available to the public. Tickets are $40 per person and include a tailgate-inspired food and beverage presentation, the team's official swimsuit calendar, and the opportunity to meet and mingle with the entire Saintsations Team.

Jennifer Hale, Fox Sports NFL Sideline Reporter and Michael Lewis, New Orleans Saints Team Ambassador will serve as Co-Master of Ceremonies for the calendar unveiling.

Saints mascots Gumbo and Sir Saint will also be on hand for the event and some 'surprise' guests are expected.

Proceeds from the special event are earmarked for the 3rd Annual "Spirit Award," a scholarship fund that was established by Lesslee Fitzmorris, President of St. All-Star and Manager of the Saintsations and Alfred L. Groos, President and General Manager of the Royal Sonesta Hotel.

The scholarship fund was created for aspiring high school seniors who wish to pursue dance team or cheerleading at the collegiate level and beyond. For more details on the Spirit Award or to submit a nomination, please visit www.saintsations.net.
