Volunteer Harvey Hill and museum custodian Kirby Guerin have restored the old wagon.

The West Baton Rouge Museum recently received a gift from the Friends of Magnolia Mound Plantation this summer. The gift was the remains of a 19th century wagon. Volunteer Harvey Hill and museum custodian Kirby Guerin have restored the old wagon. They rebuilt the wheels, chassis, seats and bed. When the wagon is painted later this summer, the men will use the historical colors including red wheels, green bed, and yellow chassis.
